In June 2000, Lionel Poilâne opened a bakery in London's Belgravia district. The bakery and the London store are fitted out on the model of the head office in the rue du Cherche-Midi in Paris. Londoners can find home-made Poilâne® sourdough loaves, shaped by hand and baked in wood, as well as all the Poilâne® breads, cookies and pastries: rye breads, nut breads, rye bread with raisins, brioches, croissants, pain au chocolat, apple pie, flans, biscuits, etc. The London bakery at 46 Elizabeth Street serves the neighborhood and ensures deliveries to London retailers.
